The HTTP Archive provides information about website performance such as # of HTTP requests, use of gzip, and amount of JavaScript. This information is recorded over time revealing trends in how the Internet is performing. Built using Open Source software, the code and data are available to everyone. It is a permanent repository of web performance information such as size of pages, failed requests, and technologies utilized. This performance information allows us to see trends in how the Web is built and provides a common data set from which to conduct web performance research.
