Boston BigPicture is one of the best photo blogs that I really admire. Over the years I have become a regular visitor to this blog for it’s brilliant photographs and relentless pursuit to deliver quality content. One feature that I would have liked on this site is to have a slideshow for the images. After years of procrastination, it finally came down to this day where I gifted myself the slideshow feature for Boston Big Picture. Here are the user scripts for both firefox and Chrome browsers. These userscripts are accomplished using jQuery framework and colorbox plugin.

I. Installation for Chrome.
(1.) Click on this user script
(2.) It asks for a confirmation, click continue

(3.) The next screen gives you information on what all websites this script will be injected into.

(4.) The script is successfully installed. Now you can see the Slideshow text on the screen.

(5.) Click on it and enjoy the slideshow.(hit F11 key and enjoy its glory in fullscreen)

II. Installation for Firefox.
Note: First you need to install the Greasemonkey firefox plugin
(1.) Clik on this user script
(2.) It asks for a confirmation, click Install.

(3.) The script is successfully installed. Now you can see the Slideshow text on the screen.
