Whether it is seasonal flu or novel H1N1, people have been touting the need to wash hands often. Recently at my work place I find a lot of hand sanitizers rightly placed at some common doorways and outside restrooms(already has wash soaps inside em). A lot of my colleagues, myself and I think everyone at workplace thought that the installation of these hand sanitizers were a small but effective means to combat H1N1, this apart from maintaining acceptable hygiene at work. Oh, my assumptions were so wrong. Some evidence suggests that since the virus is airborne, washing hands may not be the most effective strategy to prevent it.

H1N1 scare
Becomes a menace to bare
Rich or poor it doesn’t care
Scores of people already dead up there
Hopefully the vaccine brings back smiles everywhere
and with it the end to this utter nightmare.

Assumption is the mother of all fuckups
