Kim Peek, the autistic savant who inspired the Oscar-winning film Rain Man, has died of a major Heart attack, aged 58. He spent most of his life in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kim’s favorite place was the library. When doctors recommended Kim’s parents to have the kid put in a mental hospital, they denied it and raised this extraordinary human being.
